    The present invention features that by means of the measurement of the thickness and the initial gas-releasing expansion energy index of soft substratum in the coalbed at front of coal face, it can be used to judge whether dynamic phenomenon will occur when the coalbed is cut comprehensively, and which of the three phenomena will occur. With the accurate measurement of initial gas-releasing expansion energy index, which represents the comprehensive effect of crustal stress, original coalbed strength, and gas pressure on projecting course, the present invention has great predication value.
