    The invention refers to a nitride/alumina-group composite ceramic material and the preparing techinque. It comprises of titanium chloride, aluminium nitride and alumina. The technique; ball-mill the titanium powder, aluminium powder and trace additive yttria and alumina micro-powder to make powder, and shape by heat press under nitrogen condition.
