An optical recording medium having at least an information recording layer and a reflective layer. The reflective layer is formed of an Ag-Cu alloy thin film containing 3.0 to 6.5 atom% of Cu. Therefore the production cost of the optical recording medium is reduced, the weather resistance is improved, and degradation of the characteristics is avoided ever after long-term storage. |
