The present invention provides a liquid spawn inoculator capable of providing a high efficiency of inoculation into cultivating containers (8), wherein a container (9) orderly storing the cultivating containers (8) in multiple rows is intermittently transported to a spawn inoculating position by a transporting mechanism (2), the covers of the cultivating containers in the container are opened by a cover opening and closing mechanism (11) opening and closing the covers laterally for each row, a specified amount of liquid spawn is inoculated into the uncovered cultivating containers laterally for each row through a spawn feed nozzle mechanism (12), the covers are applied to the mouth parts of the cultivating containers laterally for each row by the cover opening and closing mechanism after inoculation, and this operation is repeated to transport the cultivating containers in the container to the outlet by the transporting mechanism while intermittently inoculating into the cultivating containers in the container laterally for each row. |
