The invented liquid crystal display includes one liquid crystal layer, the reflection pixel electrode, one transparent electrode and the transparent conductor protection layer. The liquid crystal layer contains multiple liquid crystal molecules. The transparent electrode and the reflection pixel electrode are located on the two sides of the liquid crystal layer respectively. The orientations of the liquid crystal molecules on the liquid crystal layer can be controlled by use of the voltage difference applied between the reflection pixel electrode and the transparent electrode. The transparent conductor protection layer is positioned between the liquid crystal layer and the reflection pixel electrode, covering the surface of the reflection pixel electrode so as to prevent depression of reflectivity of the reflection pixel electrode. |
