The steam puffing treatment process of tobacco material includes the steps of: steaming inside saturated steam at 60-100 deg.c in a steam puffing tank for 1-5 min; introducing high pressure air of 1.0-1.5 MPa into the tank and maintaining the pressure for 2-3 min; fast relieving the pressure of the tank while spraying the tobacco material into one normal pressure container and drying to obtain steam puffing treated tobacco material. The treated tobacco material can be shredded tobacco, tobacco stem, shredded tobacco stem or their mixture. The medium of the present invention is air or steam, so it can degrade the harmful components in tobacco, prevent the loss of fragrant matter. |
