The sector engine features the rack-sector gear mechanism to realize the conversion from the reciprocation of the piston to rotation of the sector gear, and the sector gear for mesh in the forward direction only. Four cylinders distributed in the tangent direction of the central shaft are made to produce work successively, and the oil cylinder link rod mechanism is used to realize the complete working circulation of the steam cylinders. The rolling spline is used to guide the rack. The engine has high transmission efficiency, saving in power, smooth transmision, less vibration, low noise, compact structure and light weight. |
