The aim of the invention is to directly form a metallic vapor deposition coating without applying an undercoating layer on the surface of a resin-made part. A method for manufacturing a resin-made part for a vehicular lamp having reflective surface 5a, 5b on at least one portion thereof, for example, a reflector 4 of a vehicular headlight 1, comprises the processes for molding the resin-made part by injection and for directly applying the metallic vapor deposition coating on the surface of the reflective surface of the resin-made part. The injection molding process is operated by injecting a molten resin 20 into a cavity 14 of a molding die 11 in which a heat insulating layer 15 is formed on a portion of a cavity surface 14 corresponding to the reflective surface. |
