A refrigerator, where an optical catalyst assembly 29 is constituted by sequentially receiving a first electrode member 61, a spacer 63, an optical catalyst module 65, a spacer 64 and a second electrode member 62 in a receiving recess 71 of a first case 58 and, thereafter, fitting a receiving protrusion 79 of a second case 59 into the receiving recess 71. Accordingly, the mesh type electrodes 66, 68 of the first and second electrode members 61, 62 are fixed to the first and second cases 58, 59 under a condition that they are interposed between the spacers 63, 64 and the receiving recess 71 respectively. Thus, a distance between the mesh type electrodes 66, 68 will not be different partially and both of the mesh type electrodes 66, 68 are retained in parallel. The invention permits to obtain stabilized electric discharge by retaining a distance between mesh type electrodes in constant when the electric discharging means for a deodorizing device is constituted of a pair of mesh type electrodes. |
