Portions (11-12) of a lower band open wide to encircle the bottom portion of the sidewall of an upright gas cylinder. Lock (18) is then used to clamp the device around the cylinder, enabling its transport (without lifting) via wheels (24-25), which only contact the ground when the cylinder is tilted. Identical second band (30) is clampable around an upper portion of the cylinder. When it is desired to stand the cylinder, band (30) is unlocked and slid down the cylinder thereby pivoting radially extending arms (36) into ground contact and steadying the cylinder. |
