    A fixture for machining the vortex plate of vortex compressor is composed of a base plate and a clamping chuck. The base plate has smooth upper surface for bearing the template of vortex plate. The clamping chuck is a ring body whose diameter is less than the ring body of the said template for clamping the template with its outer peripheral surface in radiating mode. Its advantages are high correstness and stability of clamping the vortex plate, and high machining precision and efficiency.
