To provide a vehicle light having a ball joint easy for a pressing ball part into a ball receiving part and hardly causing coming off. In this light in which the reflector 12 is tiltably supported with respect to a lamp body 10 by means of an aiming mechanism mounted between the reflector 12 and the lamp body 10, an aiming supporting point constituting the aiming mechanism is provided with the ball joint having a pivot 42 on the reflector 12 side and a bearing 46 on the lamp body 10 side. The pivot 42 is constructed by a shaft part 43 on an anchor edge side and the ball part 44 on a front edge side. The bearing 46 is constructed by the cylindrical ball receiving part formed a ball receiving surface 48 which opens to a front side through a radius reduced part 47 and pressedly contact with the ball part 44 at an inner periphery. A plurality of longitudinal slits 46a are provided at an opening rim part of the ball receiving part 46, so that the ball part 44 may be pressed into the ball receiving part 46. The ball part 44 is formed into a hemispherical shape having a front surface side pressed into an inside of the ball receiving part 46 as a ball surface 44a of the ball having a diameter D, to provide a ball joint structure allowing to insert the aiming supporting point with a small pressing power, hardly causing coming off. |
