A core holding device and a cover device for roll-shaped label of a label sticking machine capable of assuredly holding a roll-shaped label or a core thereof, simplifying an operation for installation and removal thereof, and forming it simple and compact, characterized in that core holding members (core holding knob members (13)) for holding the roll-shaped label (L) are of a rotating type, each of the core holding members (13) is energized by a spring, a pair of spring plates (11) and the pair of core holding knob members (13) are installed between right and left side plates (3), each of the core holding knob members (13) comprises a rotating shaft part (20), a core holding part (21), and a knob part (22) which is located on the opposite side of the core holding part (21) and projected outward from the side plates (3), and the spring plates (11) can energize the core holding part (21) of each of the core holding knob members (13) in the core holding positional direction thereof. |
