    An adjustable pulley drive comprising a straight track (2) for slidingly guiding a first carriage (3) and a second carriage (4), which rotatably support respectively a first pulley (5) and a second pulley (6) which are coaxial, the carriages being associated with articulated translational motion means (26) in order to adjust the axial distance between the pulleys (5, 6).
