    A roller for delivering steel billets features a tungsten carbide ring is adhered to its matrix at the position where it is easily worn by inorganic adhesive. Its manufacture or repair method includes such steps as processing by turning, washing, adhering, solidifying and welding stop rings. Its advantages are high resistance to abrasion and cracking, and long service life improved by 10-15 times.
