An information management system provides a novel communication tool, and a community space. Information image cards including image data indicating the sender sending information and related information such as URLs recommended by the sender and e-mail addresses are distributed to users. The users on the reception side use the information image cards as a portal tool for information acquisition by use of a client software application in the computer, acquires information included in the information image cards, and executes the function added to the information image cards. An information image card management server unitarily manages detailed information related to the information image cards and push-distribute the detailed information to the reception side when the client software application is started up. Even if the information added to the information image cards is updated or deleted, the sender side is not required to re-distribute the information to the users, and the reception side can acquire the latest information at all time from the information image cards. |
