    A three-element oil displacing composition contains low-concentration (0.05-0.1 wt.%) surfactant, low-concentration (0.3-1 wt.%) alkali and polymer. The interface tension between the said three-element system and crude oil is (1-5)X10 to the power (-1- -3) mN/m. Its advantages are low cost and high oil recovering rate.
