    A composite chitinamine/polyvinyl alcohol fibre is prepared from the polyvinyl alcohol dope for core and the dope of chitinamine or the mixture of chitinamine and polyvinyl alcohol for sheath through extruding out by sheath-core spinneret, spinning, drafting, water washing, and acetalization. Its advantages are excellent biofunction and dyeability, better mechanical properties, and low cost. It can be used for medical or health-care fabrics.
