    A fire-resistant fibre is prepared from melamine resin fibre (10-70 wt.%), glass fibre and plant fibre through treating it with the fire retardant which is prepared from sodium tungstate, sodium molybdate, tartaric acid and citric acid in ratio of (0.4-0.5):(0.3-0.6):(0.2-0.3):(0.2-0.3).
