A process for treating the solution at beginning end of purex route features use of silica gel adsorption technique to remove high-output fission element Zr from said solution. Said silica gel is prepared through mixing non-ionic surfactant SA-20 with water glass solution, ageing and baking. Its adsorption capacity can reach 0.3-0.43 mmol/g., the particle size of silica gel is 40-80 mesh. It can prevent secondary deposition in solution and the interface pollution in extractor. |
