The present invention belongs to the field of metal surface coating technology. The electrophoretic coating forming process includes compounding electrophoretic solution with zirconium powder, tantalum carbide, methanol or ethanol solvent, adhesive PVAC solution or nitro-cotton solution, and charging agent aluminum nitrate or cerium nitrate solution; electrophoresis to form coating via setting the cleaned grid inside the electrophoretic solution under electric field strength of 30-50 V/cm for 1-2 min; and vacuum sintering of the coated grid in vacuum furnace. The said process is simple and has simple apparatus adopted, less environmental pollution and high zirconium powder utilization, and the zirconium coating is smooth, compact and has easy-to-control thickness and high consistency. |
