The invention concerns a watch case with interchangeable watchband comprising a base (1) with an annular groove (2) wherein the central part of the single-piece watchband (3) is urged to be inserted. A closure element (4) consists in a ring which is urged to be fixed on the base with a bayonet device consisting of a pin (5) which is urged to be inserted into a corresponding recess (6). To avoid accidental opening of the closure element, a compression joint (10) is arranged in a circular housing (7) provided in the base. When the element (4) is closed the joint is compressed and is prevented from being accidentally opened by friction. The device enables to change the watchband without using any tool. |
