    An image display unit with better elctric conductivity between it and the electric excited organic luminescent (EL) elements and luminescent control circuit is prepared through arranging the film transistors and the electric conducting layers on the substrate for forming a luminescent control circuit, arranging a flattened layer with a hole structure relative to one of electric conducting layers, locally arranging the EL element on the flattened layer and arranging a contact part on said hole structure. Said contact part has the sequentially overlapped auxiliary connection layer, diamond carbon film and cathode connecting wire layer for preventing the cathode connecting wires from being oxidized or corroded by oxygen or water.
