    A method for selectively breeding the medical red-core white chrysanthemum features that in the field of medical white chrysanthemum, the medical red-core white chrysanthemum can be bred through selectively culturing single plant according to characteristics of naturally differentiated individuals and small populations, comparison experiment and production experiment. Its dried flower contains the common flavone (4.71-4.84 wt.%), chlorogenic acid (0.128-0.30 wt.%) and volatile oil (0.19-0.21 ml/g).
