    An efficient tissue culture method of gastrodia includes taking the living gastrodia from field, washing, disinfecting with medical alcohol, bleach powder and HgCl2, flushing with aseptic water 4-6 times, cutting its lender stem into blocks by 0.5-1 cm, inoculating it in the culture meidum containing asparagic acid and glutamic acid or sodium glutamate, and culturing at 25+/-2 deg.c.
