    In the present invention, before taking Chinese medicine, ropy starch paste is used to paint the surface of mouth, tongue and throat, so that the Chinese medicine will not contact directly to the said parts and the bitter of Chinese medicine can't be felt. The starch paste is non-toxic, taste-less and irritation-free and has excellent adhesion and no influence on the treating effect of Chinese medicine. The ropy starch paste is prepared with several kinds of plant material, preferably Chinese yam.
