The method and equipment for the present invention converts polycrystalline metal wire with limit-less length and thick diameter directly into monocrystalline wire through zone smelting and directional solidification. The present invention combines the crucible and the guide tube into one integral and replaces local smelting for integral smelting. The equipment includes feeding system, monocrystallizing system, drawing system, etc. The monocrystalline wire has excellent signal performance and may be used in producing hi-fi communication equipment and high-quality transmission cable. The present inventino solves the cut-off, limited crucible capacity and other problems in continuous casting monocrystal process and has the features of simple equipment structure, short production process, high efficiency and saving in power consumption. |
