    The objecitve of the invention is to provid a toner containing toner particles and fine particles, the toner particles comprises at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the fine particles comprise base particles, and a tungsten-containing tin compound coating the base particles, the fine particles contain tin(Sn) in a weight ratio(Sn/B) of 0.01 to 2.0 with respect to the base particles(B), and tungsten(W) is contained in a mol ratio(W/Sn) of 0.001 to 0.3 with respect to the tin(Sn). The toner resists environmental change and can obtain patterns with high quality. The invention also provides a image forming method repressing surplus current of pinhole when contacting with electrificated mechanism, having stable electrification even in humid condition, having good image reproducibility even using in long time.
