    The present invention provides an automatic exchange rate and renewing method for information appliance with exchange rate data. The method may be triggered regularly or manually. After Internet is connected, some server capable of being used to download exchange rate is requested to download and renew the exchange rate data in the information appliance. The present invention makes it possible for renewing exchange rate data timely while avoiding error.
