The present inventon provided a component providing method capable of swiftly providing a component to a customer. In the component providing method of providing the components of plant facilities to customers 5 and 6 possessing plant facilities, allowable periods until providing the components to the customers 5 and 6 are set. When repair requests for the components are received from the customers 5 and 6, the allowable periods with respect to the components are retrieved, and it is judged whether the components can be repaired within the allowable periods. If it is impossible, alternatives to be provided instead are extracted from a data base 45 holding inventory information, and the alternatives are prompted to be provided to the customers 5 and 6. |
