The flux-cored tungsten carbide electrode containing cubic boron nitride granules as hardfacing material can be used for tooth face and shirttail rigidization of steel tooth bit, shirttail regidization of inserted tooth bit and surface rigidization of other steel material. Said electrode includes welding tube and filler placed in the welding tube. The described filler includes sintered tungsten carbide granules, alloy powder and organic adhesive, besides it also contains covered cubic boron nitride granules, which have high hardness and thermal stabilizing temp. of 1250 deg.c, it is 300 deg.c higher than cobalt stone granules, so that it can obviously raise wear resistance, corrosion resistance and impact resistance of welded layer. |
