    The present invention belongs to the field of welding material, in particular, it relates to an electric welding electrode prepared with low alloy material, and is applicable for welding high-strength high-toughness steel material whose yield strength is greater than 780MPa. The deposited metal chemical components formed into said electrode are: (wt%) C is less than or equal to 0.07%, Si is 0.1-0.6%, Mn is 1.0-1.6%, Ni is 2.6-3.8%, Cr is 0.01-0.40%, Mo is 0.66-1.2%, Ti is 0.003-0.03% and the rest is Fe. The deposited metal of said invented electrode has the good comprehensive mechanical property, its tensile strength is greater than 850 MPa, yield strength is above 785 MPa, and its impact power at -50 deg.C is greater than 55J, and impact power at -80 deg.C is greater than 32J.
