    The ropeless elevator has elevator cage mounted on the machine frame, and is characterized by that a drive shaft is mounted on the machine frame, two ends of drive shaft are symmetrically equipped with creeping gears which are meshes with rack rail fixed on the vertical lifting channel, and the drive shaft is connected with motor mounted on the machine frame, and is driven by said motor. Said invention is stable in operation, safe, easy to brake, long in service life, convenient for maintenance and low in energy consumption.
