A high-frequency clock pulse generator with low power consumption is composed of a phase-locked loop and a sampling circuit. Said phase-locked loop has a voltage controlled oscillator to generate lower-frequency clock pulses with same frequency but different phases. Said sampling circuit consists of n samplers for sampling said clock pulses to generate high-frequency clock pulses whose frequency is 2 to the power n higher than that of said lower-frequency clock pulse. |
