A sealing material for electrochemical elements which comprises a rubber ingredient and a tackifier and keeps the electrochemical elements in a highly sealed state in a wide temperature range, wherein the rubber ingredient comprises at least either of butyl rubber and polyisobutylene rubber and the tackifier comprises at least one member selected from the group consisting of terpene resins, aliphatic petroleum resins, and alicyclic petroleum resins. |
