    The present invention relates to electromagnetic side sealing method and device for double-roller casting-rolling of thin band steel. Alternate current is applied to electromagnetic coils set on two ends of the casting-rolling melting bath to form alternate electromagnetic field on the ends with alternate magnetic force lines divergent towards peripheral or convergent reversely, and current induced inside the melting bath and the alternate electromagnetic field act to produce electromagnetic force, which pushes and encloses molten steel inside the molting bath. The sealing device includes electromagnetic coils on two ends of the melting bath and heat insualting boards between a electromagnetic coil and the melting bath. The present invention can increase working magnetic field strength via increasing turns of coils.
