This invention discloses a method for calling personal numbers in which the area codes are added. It includes: divides the whole area covered by network into more than one subarea presented by more than one grade, assigns each subarea an exclusive area code, and builds and stores the area relational information presenting the relationship among the areas and the area code corresponding to each subarea; decides the calling number's grade information added before the personal number, if it presents local area, then calls the local user directly, if it presents next grade subarea, then calls the called users in the next subarea; otherwise the communication tandem device reads the area relational information to conform the area presented by area code contains the lowest grade subarea information, then calls the user at the lowest grade subarea. |
