The invention discloses a sleeve type charge roller and a method for making the same. The charge roller includes a metal core, an elastic foam rubber tube covered on the metal core, a rubber protection tube covered on the elastic foam rubber tube, a conductive water soluble paint layer sprayed on the rubber protection tube. The making method includes: A. refining materials needed by the foam conductive rubber protection tube, pressing or squeezing into shape, vulcanizing, foaming and making foam conductive rubber tube; B. placing the metal core into the hole on the rubber tube from step A; C. refining materials needed by the rubber protection tube, pressing or squeezing into shape, covering on the foam conductive rubber tube from step B; D. pasting the conductive water soluble paint on the rubber tube from step C, after hot-setting, cutting into charge roller. |
