The extraction method of effective component of Chinese medicinal material barrenwort at normal temperature uses water or ethyl alcohol or methyl alcohol solution as solvent, and is characterized by that applying static pressure to barrenwort and solvent mixture placed in a sealed pressure container at room temperature, its pressure is 100-700 MPa, and the pressure-retaining time is above 5 min., after the pressure is released, filtering and removing solid so as to obtain the extract of the barrenwort. Its yield rate can be greatly raised, and its extraction time can be greatly shortened, and its impurity content in the extract also is less.
