The invention relates to an ethane polymerization catalyst with following constitutional formula, its synthesis method and application purpose. Wherein, it is found firstly that electronic effect has great function to catalyst performance in front-transient metal chelate. The catalyst with some ligands contained halogen increase activity obviously compared with the one without halogen. For example, using toluene as solvent and MMAO as co-catalyst, on normal temperature and pressure, the catalyst activity of the complex achieves 7.68X106g/molTih almost one thousand times to the complex with methyl as substituent and the reaction product is linear high-density polyethylene.
