    This invention relates to a method and apparatus for monitoring driving time of driver, which comprises: 1) the driver brings a bear device that can emit radio impulse signal, and it arranges a vehicle-carried device to receive the signal; 2) the bear device emits signal according to some frequency, the vehicle-carried begins to receive the signal after starting and achieving a given speed; 3) when the received signal time comes to a set number, it sends a alarm signal. This invention can ensure drive security.
