To provide a gluing member of which only one release sheet of two release sheets adhered to both sides of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can be surely peeled off and in that case, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is prevented from adhesion to a release sheet released at first due to the loss of a part of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; and a gluing method of an optical component by using such a gluing member. The gluing member 100 comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3, a first release sheet 1, and a second release sheet 2. Both sides of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 3 have tackiness. The first release sheet 1 is composed by forming a first release agent layer 12 on a first base material 11. The second release sheet 2 is composed by forming a second release agent layer 22 on a second base material 21. The second release sheet 2 has a non-release region 23 which is near at the end part perpendicular to the release direction in releasing the first release sheet 1 and in which the second release agent layer 22 is not set up. |
