    The disclosed word access method of SDRAM controller comprises: (1) selecting the controller to access the DIMM bar of SDRAM or its memory chip by means of 32-bit word; (2) introducing read-modify-write signal RMW to embed into hardware for operation without interruption; (3) outputting control command from the controller to connect with DQM signal of former bar or chip for logic control. This invention reduces chip cost and improves product performance.
