A broadcast signal receiver and a channel information displaying method of the broadcast signal receiver are provided for displaying channel information in a channel information menu in which broadcast channels comprising broadcast signals are classified into information regarding viewable channels and non-viewable channels separately displayed. Broadcast channels comprising broadcast signals are searched. A viewable channel authorized for viewing and a non-viewable channel not authorized for viewing, among the searched broadcast channels are classified. A channel information menu is displayed comprising a first display block displaying information regarding the viewable channel and a second display block displaying information regarding the non-viewable channel. |
