A cabling spool and a method for using a cabling spool (1, 2) with integrated spool lids (1). The cabling spool (1, 2) form the inner half of a hollow torus in which the cable may be spooled. The centre of the torus, i.e. the cylindrical core of the spool, comprises two axles. The cabling spool further comprises a external cabling lock (14) attached to the side edge of the cabling spool. The spool lid (1) is a hollow torus arranged on the outside of the ideal torus of the spool (1, 2), with slots (2, 6) in the surface of the torus to allow access to the spool and to open for movement of the spool around the spool grips spolefestene (3, 7) to provide an opening and locking function of the lid. |
