The invention relates to a rice cooker which allows a pressure opening means to continuously control the operation of a pressure regulating means, even if a lid is deformed by a pressure when the pressure regulating means is effective, making the locking mechanism unmovable. The rice cooler is provided with: an inner pot detachably stored in a body; a lid tightly closing the inner lid; a steam passage provided in the lid; the pressure regulating means provided in the steam passage; an opening means opening the steam passage to release it from the pressure regulating operation of the pressure regulating means; and a hook locking the lid to the body. The rice cooler is characterised in that except the opening means, it also provided with a lid locking means engaged with the hook to prevent the opening of the lid, when the opening means allows the pressure regulating means to regulate the pressure, the opening means interlocks with the lid locking means to engage the lid locking means with the hook and, when the opening means is operated to release the pressure regulating means, the opening means non-interlocks with the lid locking means to open the pressure regulating means. |
