The press includes a press frame, a pedestal for the lower pressed workpiece to be set on, guide columns set on the pedestal, a pressing head movable vertically along the guide columns for the upper pressed workpiece to be set on and a driving mechanism for driving the pressing head to move vertically. It features the driving mechanism comprising a lever with fulcrum connected movably to the frame, a piston column and a hydraulic device connected to one end of the lever mainly. The lever has its other end connected to the pressing head, the hydraulic device is set on the frame, and the distance between the piston column-lever connecting point and the fulcrum is greater than that between the pressing head-lever connecting point and the fulcrum. Compared with available technology, the present invention has the advantages of greatly raised pressing pressure, simple structure and low manufacture cost. |
