The invention discloses new steroid 5-alpha reducing enzyme isomer HS5AR-iso gene order and its coding protein expressed in human normal adrenal gland tissue. It also discloses its manufacturing method and the antibody combined with human HS5AR-iso protein specificity. The human HS5AR-iso protein can be used to cure or alleviate the illness caused by its deletion, no function, or abnormal. The invention also can be used to diagnose or do prognosis judgment based on its nucleic acid sequence or antibody.
