    The invention relates to a method for suppressing reaction inhibition of glucose at a high concentration in measurement of the glucose comprising a step of reacting a modified type PQQGDH (pyrroloquinoline quinone-dependent glucose dehydrogenase). The method comprises the step of reacting the modified type PQQGDH in the presence of any one or more selected from the group consisting of succinic acid, glutaric acid, malonic acid, malic acid, phthalic acid, 2-ketoglutaric acid, 3,3-dimethylglutaric acid, pimelic acid, suberic acid, adipic acid and citric acid adipic acid and an amino acid and/or salts in the measurement of the glucose comprising the step of reacting the modified type PQQGDH.
