The invention relates to multifunctional tanning agent and its manufacturing method which belongs to leather chemical engineering material field. Its raw material includes dichromate, leather solid waste, wastes contains cellulose, sulfuric acid, and water. It includes the following steps: using water to dissolve the dichromate; adding sulfuric acid to react; adding the wastes contains cellulose; adding the rest sulfuric acid to react at 50-90 degree centigrade for 30-180min to gain the tan liquor; drying to make powdery tanning agent. The tanning agent combines the functions of alduronic acid assist tanning, chroming, protein filling etc. Thus it has many advantages of fast permeation, strong reactivity, good elasticity etc. Its contraction temperature can reach 110 degree centigrade. It can be used in the initial tanning and re-tanning of the pig, cattle, and sheep skins, and bating technology without picking. |
